Voting by Absentee Ballot

If you are unable to vote in person on September 26, we thank you for your YES VOTE on Prop. 4 via Absentee Ballot.

To vote by Absentee Ballot for the first time is a two step process:

1) You must apply to vote by Absentee Ballot.

2) You must vote and return your Absentee Ballot.

Applying for an Absentee Ballot

Registered voters in the Sag Harbor Unified Free School District can apply for an Absentee Ballot by completing and submitting this form.

  • You can vote absentee for any reason, so long as you are a registered SHUFSD voter.

  • You may only apply for an absentee ballot on your own behalf.

Once you have completed the application form, you may either:

  • Return the Application by Mail. It must be received no later than September 18. Mail your application to:

      Sag Harbor, NY 11963

  • Return the Application in Person. You may personally deliver it to Mary Adamcyzk, District Clerk at the address above no later than September 25.

Voting & Returning Your Absentee Ballot

If you request that an Absentee Ballot be mailed to you, it will be sent no later than six (6) days prior to the election. You may also collect your Absentee Ballot directly from the District Clerk if you submit your application in person.

Once you have obtained your Absentee Ballot, VOTE YES on Prop. 4.

You must then return your ballot to the District Clerk by September 26 at 5pm.

  • Please Note: A postmark on September 26 is not sufficient; it must be received by September 26 at 5pm.
