Revolutionary Tea Party

Revolutionary Tea Party, Sunday June 7, 2PM

Puddings and Biscakes brings a refined, historically inspired tea experience to the Whaling Museum, offering a thoughtful nod to the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence while inviting guests to explore the traditions of the late 18th-century baking. Inspired by Amelia Simmon’s American Cookery (1796) and other period sources, the program highlights the influences, ingredients, and approaches of time.

Guests will enjoy fine teas from the Puddings and biscakes collection alongside a curated selection of historic baked seats. Seating will be community-style to foster a convivial atmosphere.

Ages 12 and up are welcome. Registration is required for the family-friendly event, as space is limited.

$50 per person, $20 under 18.
