COVID-19 Update
Dear Friends,
We hope you are all safe and well. As with every business in these troubling
times, the safety of our staff and visitors is our primary concern. Therefore: We have postponed our traditional May 1st opening, and now aim to open June 1st.
However, this date is just a goal - we will comply with all State guidelines and regulations, and open only when it is safe to do so, with all necessary precautions in place.

Dear Friends,
We hope you are all safe and well.
As you may have heard, Long Island has begun reopening, with “phase 1” beginning May 27th; phases 2-4 will roll out with a minimum of two weeks between each phase. Museums and other cultural institutions are slated to open in phase 4.
Therefore, our new target opening date will be Wednesday, JULY 8th
Of course, this date too may change in the coming weeks depending on conditions, so before planning a visit, please check this website for our most current updates.
When we do reopen, we will have various new health and safety protocols in place to make the museum as safe for you as possible.
